Salary: $90,000 - $110,000/year

Ledgent, a Roth Staffing Company, is thrilled to partner with an innovative and growing client in the health and wellness industry in their search for a transformational Senior Accountant or Accounting Supervisor specializing in implementation. This is not your typical back-office role. We're looking for a dynamic professional who brings deep accounting expertise combined with a passion for technology, process improvement, and change leadership.

This is an exciting, project-driven opportunity where your ideas matter. You'll play a pivotal role in leading cross-functional initiatives-testing, evaluating, and implementing accounting software solutions, leveraging AI tools, and developing streamlined financial processes that drive efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate performance across departments.

?? What You'll Do:

  • Lead core accounting functions including month-end and year-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting for multiple entities

  • Own and elevate systems and processes: spearhead the evaluation, testing, and implementation of accounting/ERP software, tools, and templates that automate and optimize workflows

  • Conduct software and process audits to identify inefficiencies, reduce manual inputs, and leverage AI for smarter, faster reporting

  • Collaborate with IT, operations, and department heads to champion cross-departmental technology adoption

  • Lead data analysis and modeling projects that influence business strategy; develop advanced Excel templates (e.g., dynamic dashboards, waterfall charts) to tell compelling financial stories

  • Drive ERP enhancement projects, including user testing, feedback collection, data migration, and go-live support

  • Design and document financial workflows, SOPs, and training guides to improve team consistency and readiness

  • Support internal control development and process adherence, especially during change implementations

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and business scenario planning

  • Mentor junior accounting staff and play a leadership role in process change communication and adoption

?? Who You Are:

  • A visionary problem-solver with a natural talent for identifying inefficiencies and a hunger for improvement

  • A confident change agent who can get buy-in from others and lead teams through transformation

  • A self-starter and independent worker with strong collaboration and communication skills

  • A technical wizard with Excel, experienced in building powerful tools for analysis and reporting

  • An ERP-savvy accountant who's worked with various systems and understands how to harness their full potential

? Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in a multi-entity or project-driven environment

  • Strong grasp of U.S. GAAP and financial compliance

  • Demonstrated experience with accounting software implementations, upgrades, or integrations

  • Proficiency in advanced Excel (pivot tables, dynamic arrays, waterfall charts, data modeling, etc.)

  • Passion for automation, AI tools, and continuous process improvement

  • Strong leadership, project management, and change management skills

  • CPA or CPA candidate is a plus

  • Prior experience in the health, wellness, or services industry is a bonus
